One of the things I love about being a portrait photographer is capturing capturing who the person really is – and thereby bring out her true beauty. A couple months ago, I was chosen as one of the photographers for the Beauty Revived “50 Most Beautiful Mothers Campaign”. Beauty Revived is a campaign that “celebrates real beauty and the journey we take to find the real beauty in ourselves and others”. I immediately thought of Libier, a beautiful friend of mine who has made beauty from some of the most difficult times of her life. She has persevered and become stronger for it. I loved that I got to photograph her in the beauty of the Spring flowers because it really helped to accentuate her life that has bloomed so beautifully. I don’t want you to miss her story. It’s so beautiful. If you would like to read hers and the amazing stories about the other 49 beautiful women, you can find out more information here. If you would like to get to know Libier a bit more, she has a really fun blog that she is very active on and you will find inspiration on nearly a daily basis here.
Here is a just a bit of what I wrote about beautiful Libier in the “Beauty Revived 50 Most Beautiful Mothers” Magazine:
“Grace changes everything. For Libier, it has made all the difference. Behind the outward beauty and radiant smile, so much has happened in her life that could have torn down the walls of kindness, empathy and grace. It could have stolen her contagious laugh, her strength and her resolve, but with Libier, her experiences have served as a catalyst to strengthen her faith, her resolve to help others, and her ability to raise her daughters with wisdom beyond her years.”
I love the feature images that Michelle, the founder and editor of Beauty Revived, chose for Libier’s feature. I have included a few more from her session below. Again, can you tell why I am so blessed to be a Beauty Revived photographer? This brought me so much joy to tell her story and share her images. Libier is featured on the Beauty Revived blog today so be sure to check it out!
To see and read the amazing stories of 50 beautiful women, you won’t want to miss the magazine.
Gah! I just love these images of Libier in the pink.
Such joy!! How cool was it that we got to photograph in yellow flowers, too? This is another thing I love about being a Sacramento Photographer. Seriously, the BEST Springtime around!
